GETTING HERE

Here’s a little bit of info to help you get to Groundswell Festival and get straight into all the action.

Please keep in mind that parking is limited in Scarborough, so we encourage the use of public transport, ride sharing or cycling. Bike racks available just don’t forget your lock!

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Avoid the traffic and catch a train or bus to Groundswell Festival.

  • Catch a train to either Glendalough or Stirling stations and transfer to a bus to Scarborough Beach Bus Station.

  • Route 990 operates a high frequency service between Glendalough Station and Scarborough Beach Bus Station via Scarborough Beach Road.

  • Routes 421 and 410 operate from Stirling Station to Scarborough Beach Bus Station.

PARKING

  • Beachfront parking is available along the Esplanade both north and south of the clocktower (pls note the time restrictions in these parking areas when parking). ACROD bays are also available here with easy access to the event

  • Parking is available in the Manning Street Multi-story Carpark.

  • Parking is available under the Rendezvous Hotel

  • Parking available at The Whitesands car park on West Coast Highway

  • Street parking is available in the surrounding area but please follow onsite street signage (infringements and wheel clamping by private land owners apply)

  • Motorcycle Bays are available along the Esplanade

  • Additional Parking is available at the South Trigg Carpark with the added benefit of a picture perfect 7-10min stroll along the coastline

  • Additional Parking is also available at Peasholm Dog Beach to South Trigg (just a short walk to the event)

  • DO NOT PARK in the Post Office carpark, this will result in wheel clamping by the owners.

BIKE PARKING

Skip the traffic and ride! The City of Stirling is running free valet bike parking right next to the action, plus a free bike safety check by a qualified mechanic.

Where: On the grass area next to the Scarborough Skate Bowl
When: Across the festival weekend (11–12 October)
Cost: Free

UBER DROP OFF SUGGESTION

Get dropped off at the eastern side of West Coast Highway to avoid any congestion at peak times.
